Hand gathered driftwood from the majestic Lake Superior, strung together with wood and glass beads. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. 12-14” in length.

Superior is often referred to as The Freshwater Sea as it is the largest lake in the world (by surface area). The indigenous peoples of the land (the Ojibwe/ Chippewa tribe) named it Gitche Gumee (Gichigami) meaning the Obijwe’s Great Sea.

Driftwood symbolizes the eternal relationship between land and sea; and between life and death. The evil eye amulet wards off evil and protects one from negative energies. 🧿

The driftwood pieces are ethically hand gathered by me.
