Important notes:
•Bat houses need to be placed 12-20 feet high without too many trees or obstacles around. They need some open space to freely fly and unobstructed entry at the bottom of their home.
•Bats prefer to roost within 1/4-1/2 mile of a water source.
•It can sometimes take 1-2 years to attract bats to roost in your bat house, so don’t worry if they don’t move in right away!
